The myAGRO platform has officially opened for agricultural subsidy applications. The new myAGRO platform, operated by the Greek Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), allows farmers to submit their Unified Aid Application (UAE) for 2026, declaring their farming and livestock operations in order to receive the subsidies they are entitled to. According to AADE Governor Giorgos Pitsilis, the new application marks a significant step toward a simpler, more secure, and more transparent process — drawing on data already held by AADE and other public bodies, while also strengthening safeguards against fraud.
What changes with the new agricultural subsidies platform
According to AADE, the application has been designed to minimize manual data entry, as a significant portion of the form is pre-filled using data from last year’s UAE and information from public sector systems.
Among the data sources being utilized are:
– the Tax Registry,
– the E9 property declaration,
– myDATA,
– property rental declarations,
– the Ministry of Rural Development and Food,
– the Land Registry and the new mapping infrastructure of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
During the application process, digital and geospatial checks are carried out so that potential errors or discrepancies can be identified before final submission. Significant changes are also being introduced to the authorization process, which will now be handled through a centralized digital system. Every action taken on the platform is linked to a verified user, their role, and the organization they represent.
For the first time, in addition to Declaration Reception Centers, applications on behalf of farmers can also be submitted by accountants or accounting firms that are members of the Economic Chamber of Greece, as well as by agronomists, forestry engineers, and veterinarians who are members of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece.
Conflict-of-interest rules will apply to all authorized professionals, and non-compliance will result in penalties. AADE has also announced changes to the handling of handwritten lease agreements. Those concerned will be required to keep copies in their documentation file, without needing to upload them to the platform, as the relevant information will be drawn from digital public administration registries.
Key deadlines
The deadline for submitting the Unified Aid Application is October 16, 2026. For applications submitted by September 15, subsidy advance payments may be disbursed by October 31, while for those submitted between September 16 and October 16, advance payments are expected to be issued by November 30. Additionally, from August 28, a QR code for activating the Farmer’s Card will be available within the application.
