Greece’s Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, visited Sismanogleio Hospital on Friday (17/07) to inspect the restoration work currently underway following a fire that broke out in one of the hospital’s wards.
In a post on social media, the minister stated: This morning I visited Sismanogleio Hospital to assess the progress of the restoration works following the arson attack that took place 8 days ago. I also checked on the patients who have been temporarily relocated to a new area, and reviewed the many different ongoing upgrade projects at the hospital. In practical terms, we will soon have a completely renewed Sismanogleio Hospital.
