The death toll from Russia‘s attack on Kyiv, Ukraine, has risen to 17, according to the latest figures from the country’s emergency services. Previous official reports had recorded 13 deaths and dozens of injuries.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin announced that President Vladimir Putin was briefed by his top military commander on the large-scale Russian strike on Kyiv, adding that Moscow will continue to intensify pressure on Ukraine in order to achieve its objectives. Speaking during a video conference with journalists, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused Europe of escalating tensions and stated that Russia cannot remain indifferent to such actions.
