NN consistently invests in initiatives that promote physical, mental, and financial well-being. Central to this commitment is the company’s established annual Volunteer Week, which gives employees the opportunity to experience the personal fulfillment of giving back and making a difference. This year’s event took place from June 8 to 12, carrying special significance as 2026 has been designated by the United Nations as the International Year of Volunteering for Sustainable Development.

NN Volunteer Week 2026: A closer look at the activities
Throughout the week, 192 volunteer employees of NN Hellas dedicated a combined total of 924 hours of voluntary work, making a meaningful contribution to the support of more than 700 people in need. Through a wide range of activities designed in collaboration with social organizations such as the humanitarian organization Humanity Greece and Wise Greece, employees actively participated in initiatives focused on social contribution, cultural connection, and creative expression — supporting vulnerable groups, children, and elderly members of the community.
Among the highlights, as part of initiatives such as “A Kitchen for Good” and “Gifted Boxes of Happiness,” NN Hellas employees prepared and distributed more than 200 meals to families in need and created 200 gift packages for children. Through programs such as “Discovering Culture Together,” they also strengthened social engagement and inclusion among elderly beneficiaries of the “Friendship at Every Age” program run by the Prolepsis Institute.
Employees also took part in creative upcycling workshops with a social purpose. Throughout the week, they supported the work of ActionAid through the NN Charity Run — specifically its efforts to empower individuals and families facing financial hardship or social exclusion. On the final day of the week, a large-scale environmental protection initiative was carried out under the guidance of We4All, involving the clean-up of a forested area in Eastern Attica to help prevent wildfires and care for the natural environment.
Volunteering is an inseparable part of NN’s culture, as powerfully demonstrated through this week’s activities. The Volunteer Week has long stood as a testament to the importance of community, highlighting the strength of collaboration and the lasting impact of hands-on giving.
