A 13.3 percentage point lead in voting intention is given to New Democracy by the new Metron Analysis poll conducted for Mega TV. The findings show that the appearance of two new political formations is not simply redistributing forces within the opposition space, but may signal the birth of new political poles and the reshaping of the anti-establishment vote.
Metron Analysis poll: New Democracy maintains solid double-digit lead
According to the voting intention presented by the Metron Analysis poll, New Democracy stands at 28.5%, Alexis Tsipras’s ELAS solidifies its 2nd place with 15.2%, PASOK is at 11.2%, Maria Karystianou’s Elpida at 10.4%, Plefsi Eleftherias at 6.8%, Greek Solution at 6.0%, KKE at 5.8%, Voice of Reason at 3.3%, MeRA25 at 3.1%, SYRIZA at 2.3% and Niki at 1.9%.

Mitsotakis dominates in prime ministerial suitability
By 14 points (28% versus 14%) Kyriakos Mitsotakis leads Alexis Tsipras in suitability for the prime ministership, followed at a distance by Nikos Androulakis and Maria Karystianou, both with 6%.

Three points higher in citizen evaluation is Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis (from 27% to 30%), returning to the levels of the initial phase of the Persian Gulf conflict, when he had sent frigates and F-16s to strengthen Cyprus’s defenses. The government’s evaluation is also up by one point, while the image of PASOK and its president is problematic, as negative assessments increase by three points: the main opposition party now has 80% negative assessments and only 12% positive ones, while Mr. Androulakis has only 14% positive evaluations, losing five points in popularity and appearing fifth from the bottom in the ranking of political leaders, with 21%.
