The murder case of 39-year-old Vasiliki in Kalamata is taking on new dimensions, as following revelations about GPS in her car and recording devices inside the house, investigations are now focusing on an incident that occurred months before the crime.
This concerns the incident in November 2025, when the 39-year-old’s dance teacher had reached the point of calling the police, fearing that something serious had happened to his student.
New evidence in the 39-year-old’s case in Kalamata: The incident that mobilized police months before the murder
The man in question has described that incident to his wider circle. As he reportedly said, Vasiliki did not show up for a scheduled dance lesson, while also not answering phone calls. This fact caused him intense concern, to such a degree that he notified the police.
The question that now takes on special significance is what exactly had made the teacher worry so intensely about the 39-year-old’s safety, several months before her murder.
Following his call, a patrol car went to the woman’s house, while the prosecutor’s office was also notified. According to the police officer who handled the incident, the 39-year-old opened the door of her house and was found with her two minor children in a cheerful mood, as they were preparing to decorate the house for Christmas.
In fact, the officer asked her directly if there was a problem she didn’t wish to reveal in front of her children. She replied that nothing was happening and explained that she simply didn’t go to the lesson because she wanted to spend time with her children and decorate the house together. The case was then closed without anything suspicious emerging.
Under the microscope: surveillance of 39-year-old Vasiliki – New questions
Today, however, after the murder of the 39-year-old by her 41-year-old husband, developments give new dimension to that incident. This is because the authorities’ investigation revealed that the accused allegedly systematically monitored his wife. According to information from police sources, he had placed a tracking device in her car, while recording devices had been installed inside the apartment.
Police are expected to examine the recorded material to determine what the perpetrator had heard and what picture he had formed about his wife’s movements.
Meanwhile, information from the 39-year-old’s circle reports that the 41-year-old was excessively jealous. In fact, he allegedly created a fake profile on social media with the pseudonym “thana_tos8511” to monitor her online activity. After the murder, the accused initially attempted to claim to police that the woman moved against him. However, his claims did not align with the investigation’s findings and he eventually confessed to his act.
Within this scenario, the dance teacher’s testimony takes on special interest. Because, after everything that has been revealed, many wonder if the November incident was indeed a simple absence from class or if it constituted a warning bell for what would follow a few months later.
Today, the 41-year-old is expected to testify before the investigator and it is considered certain that he will be called to provide answers for even the smallest detail.
