Nikos Karahalios goes on the counterattack after the lawsuit filed against him by Maria Karystianou, responding with sharp posts on social media. In his response to Thanasis Avgerinos, who asked the prosecutor to summon Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova as a witness, Mr. Karahalios says that his own lawyers have also prepared a lawsuit, with a defense witness… Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis himself!

Karahalios on Karystianou: “Don’t fear the court… she rented so many buses”

“Can you imagine it?” he characteristically wonders in a post on X. “Zakharova against the Prime Minister over a tweet.” In a series of posts on X, the well-known communications expert implies that… he won’t file, yet, a lawsuit against Ms. Karystianou, who accuses him of being a “plant” from Maximos Mansion, so as not to… ruin her today’s “mobilization” for the party announcement. “Don’t fear the court… she rented so many buses” he characteristically says in his post.

He declares himself anti-establishment, rejects accusations that he is “interconnected” and warns of “deconstruction, which is already a case study in all Communication schools in the country,” the “unhistorical,” as he characterizes them, Maria Karystianou and her close collaborator, Maria Gratzia. “Not only will they lose, not only will they retract, but they will apologize with ‘Karystianian tears,’ they picked a fight with the wrong person” he warns.
