Irini Mourtzoukou, who has been held for the past 48 hours in the women’s wing of Korydallos prison, has requested to be transferred to a psychiatric hospital. On Wednesday afternoon, her lawyer Nikos Alexandris visited Korydallos prison to see the 25-year-old for the second time.

Mr. Alexandris is the only person currently allowed to see her, while according to reports there is interest from close family members to visit her. On the other hand, she herself, according to ANT1 reports, has expressed the desire to communicate with certain family members.
