The case came to light when the child’s mother reported that her ex-partner had not returned the child as required by a court order. The father allegedly abducted the child, cutting off all communication.

Authorities responded quickly, with police managing to locate the father and retrieve the 6-year-old, who was safely returned to his mother. “I went nine days without any sign of life from my child,” the mother emphasized, speaking on the show “Truths with Zina.”
Father and partner face charges
She emphasizes that this incident is not isolated, describing a long-term violent environment. As she claims, the man became violent toward her even in front of their child. “He abused me violently, even in front of the child […] I don’t know what’s worse: what I went through with him or what I’m going through now. If the mother is abused in front of the child, that’s abuse for the child too,” she notes.
