Araghchi: “Time” for Saudi Arabia to expel US military from its territory
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called on Monday for Saudi Arabia to expel American armed forces from its territory, reiterating that Iran’s strikes against Gulf states target enemies of the Islamic Republic. “Iran respects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” and considers it a “brother nation,” Araghchi stated via X.
“Our operations target enemies who attack us without respecting Arabs or Iranians, nor can they provide any security,” he added, claiming it is now “time” for the kingdom “to expel US forces” and remove American bases.
