Paiania, March 23, 2026. The AKTOR Group is accelerating its strategic planning and strengthening its renewable energy project portfolio to diversify revenue sources, contributing to value creation and Greece’s green transition. Specifically, the AKTOR Group acquired 100% of the company AIOLOS EVIAS ENERGEIAKI, which develops 7 wind farms in Euboea with a capacity of 145 MW, while simultaneously proceeding with an acquisition agreement for 100% of a portfolio of operational photovoltaic stations with a capacity of 13 MW in the Regional Unit of Kilkis. According to AKTOR Group’s business plan and transactions under consideration, the operational renewable energy portfolio is expected to exceed 400 MW within 2026.

Acquisition of AIOLOS EVIAS ENERGEIAKI
Specifically, through its subsidiary AKTOR RENEWABLES, the AKTOR Group acquired 100% of AIOLOS EVIAS ENERGEIAKI, which develops a complex of 7 wind farms in various areas of the Municipality of Karystos. The projects have environmental permits and connection terms for a total capacity of 145.2 MW, and their capacity factor is estimated at 38%. These are projects previously developed by EDP Renewables Europe.
The total transaction value will amount to approximately €20 million, while it includes customary terms and conditions, including suspensive conditions and staged payment of the price linked to completion of licensing and project implementation progress. After the installation permit is issued and their financing process is completed, the projects are estimated to enter the construction phase, with operations beginning in Q4 2028. Their contribution to the Group’s operational profitability (EBITDA) is estimated at around €25 million.
The transaction is part of AKTOR Group’s strategic planning and represents tangible investment support in utilizing Greece’s wind potential, contributing to the country’s green transition in accordance with the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) and for the benefit of electricity consumers.
Additional acquisition and portfolio enhancement
Additionally, the AKTOR Group completed a transaction to acquire 100% of a portfolio of operational photovoltaic stations with a capacity of 13.013 MW in the Regional Unit of Kilkis, with a net price of approximately €3.5 million, strengthening AKTOR Group’s portfolio in operational or grid-pending photovoltaic station projects, whose installed capacity totals 173MW. Based on AKTOR Group’s business plan and transactions under consideration, this is expected to exceed 400MW within 2026.
Balanced and resilient portfolio
With these two new acquisitions, the AKTOR Group is investing in creating a technology-balanced, risk-resilient and profitable energy project portfolio, which will be further strengthened with the completion and commissioning of energy storage projects with a total capacity of 100MW within H2 2026. It will be expanded even further with new targeted acquisitions.
