Nikos Dendias held a meeting with John Healey in London. The two Defense Ministers focused on Cyprus, as their interest is mutual, while they also discussed Bulgaria and the defense assistance that Greece provides through the deployment of Patriot systems in Karpathos. The Greek Defense Minister and his UK counterpart also discussed the Middle East and Iran. “I briefed my British counterpart on what we have done for the security of the Republic of Cyprus and all lawful residents of the island, as well as the security services we provide to our partner in the European Union and NATO, Bulgaria,” Nikos Dendias emphasized in his statements after the meeting.
