Chaos erupted yesterday (09/03) in Patras, when a 15-year-old was beaten up by a high school student upon returning from a school trip and had to be taken to the hospital.
According to tempo24.news, the incident occurred yesterday afternoon while everyone – teachers and students – were gathered at Chatzi Square near the Marouda school complex. Police were immediately notified, while the perpetrator got on a motorbike and fled. After investigation, the suspect being sought for arrest in the context of flagrant offense is a second-year high school student who attends the same building as the middle school in the Marouda complex.

The cause of the 15-year-old’s beating was reportedly a game involving oranges during the school trip, one of which hit the perpetrator’s sister. As a result, she dropped her mobile phone which was damaged. Criminal charges were filed against the high school student for causing bodily harm, while his father was arrested for neglecting supervision of a minor.
