Aegean Airlines continues repatriation flights for Greeks who were stranded in Dubai and Oman following the war in Iran. As the company announced, following a request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it conducted yesterday, Wednesday, the first repatriation flight for Greeks from the Middle East.
Specifically, Greek citizens and their family members traveled yesterday, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, on a special flight from Muscat International Airport in Oman to Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos.” In cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, two more repatriation flights to Athens will be conducted. Today, March 5, a flight will depart from Dubai, and tomorrow, March 6, from Muscat (Oman), to transport Greek citizens from the broader Middle East region to Greece.
It is clarified that since these specific flights are conducted on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, booking through Aegean Airlines is not possible. Greeks currently in the region should contact the respective Greek Embassies and Consular Authorities and register their details on the Greek Citizens registration form. The special repatriation flights, as well as any corresponding flights scheduled for the coming days, are conducted exclusively and only when all security conditions are met and following authorization from the Competent Authorities.
