An intense car chase occurred in the early hours in northern Athens, culminating in the arrest of a well-known manager of artists and models. The incident took place around 02:30 when a patrol car from the Immediate Action unit signaled a suspicious vehicle near Agios Stefanos. However, the driver apparently had no intention of stopping and hit the accelerator.
The 72-year-old driver and renowned entertainment manager drove dangerously for approximately 10 kilometers in a Smart car, with Immediate Action police officers finally immobilizing him on Lefkadas Street in Kifisia.
The driver was arrested and faces charges for dangerous driving, disobedience, and other related violations. He is expected to appear before a magistrate.
