A 68-year-old Bulgarian man was sentenced to prison on Monday afternoon (16/02) at the Single-Member Summary Court of Lamia, following allegations that he made indecent proposals to two underage schoolgirls. The defendant failed to convince the court of his innocence, with the tribunal finding him guilty of repeated sexual dignity violations, imposing a 15-month prison sentence without suspension, as reported by lamiareport.gr.

It should be noted that the 68-year-old defendant claimed that what he said to the two minor girls was just for fun and that he had no intention of harming them! However, he failed to convince the Judge and Prosecutor, nor of course the two minors who were terrified by his… “joke”.
It is recalled that authorities proceeded with the arrest of the 68-year-old on Saturday afternoon (14/02) following a complaint from the girls’ parents that he approached them and made indecent proposals. The defendant was arrested at the port of Agios Konstantinos and was initially brought to the Kamena Vourla Police Station where he was unequivocally identified by the victims.
