A brutal crime occurred on Saturday afternoon (14/2) in Alexandroupoli, where three individuals were arrested by Greek police for the murder of an elderly man who was found dead with 15 stab wounds in his home. According to evros-news.gr, the perpetrators are three young people who murdered the 82-year-old last Thursday. The perpetrators entered the apartment to demand additional money from him, after previously stealing his bank card.
The elderly man resisted and they killed him with multiple stab wounds at the scene where his brother later found him. Greek police brought the three perpetrators in for questioning, while a 15-year-old minor confessed that they murdered him with a knife. The immediate arrest came following the victim’s complaint that his bank card had been stolen at the local market. Based on the purchases made by the three young people at city stores and through security cameras, they were identified.
