Donald Trump has imposed tariffs on European countries, implementing his previous threats regarding his plan for Greenland.

Through his Truth Social platform, the American president announced that Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Finland will be subject to a 10% tariff on all goods shipped to the United States.

For many years, we have been subsidizing Denmark, all European Union countries and other nations, without imposing tariffs or other forms of reciprocity. Now, after centuries, the time has come for Denmark to reciprocate — global peace is at stake!
China and Russia want Greenland and Denmark cannot do anything to prevent it. They currently have two dog sleds for protection, one of which was recently added. Only the United States of America, under PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP, can play in this game, and with great success! No one will touch this sacred piece of land, especially since US national security and that of the world at large is at stake. Above all, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Finland have traveled to Greenland for unknown purposes. This is a very dangerous situation for the security and survival of our planet. These countries, playing this very dangerous game, have created a level of risk that is not sustainable. Therefore, it is imperative, in order to protect global peace and security, that strong measures be taken so that this potentially dangerous situation ends quickly and without doubt. Starting February 1, 2026, all the aforementioned countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Finland) will be subject to a 10% tariff on all goods shipped to the United States of America.
On June 1, 2026, the tariff will increase to 25%. This tariff will be required and payable until an agreement is reached for the complete and total purchase of Greenland. The United States has been trying to complete this transaction for over 150 years. Many presidents have tried, and for good reason, but Denmark always refused. Now, due to the Golden Dome and modern weapons systems, both offensive and defensive, the need for ACQUISITION is particularly important. Hundreds of billions of dollars are currently being spent on security programs related to the “Dome,” including potential protection of Canada, and this very smart, but extremely complex system can operate at maximum potential and efficiency, due to angles, boundaries and borders, only if this land is included in it. The United States of America is immediately open to negotiations with Denmark and/or any of these countries that have put so much at risk, despite everything we have done for them, including maximum protection, for so many decades.
