A tragedy occurred on the streets of Loutsa on Saturday night when a car struck three pedestrians, killing one and injuring two others. Specifically, from the traffic accident one of the young men was critically injured, resulting in his death, while the other two were wounded and transported to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle was also injured.
How the horrific traffic accident happened in Loutsa
Three young men were preparing to get into a parked car on the side of a quiet and relatively empty road in Loutsa, Eastern Attica, when a blue car, whose driver lost control for reasons unknown at this time, struck them at very high speed.
The horrific traffic accident occurred shortly after 00:30. The vehicle that caused it was traveling on Artemidos Avenue when it lost control under unclear circumstances. The 26-year-old driver was arrested by police, while according to reports, the deceased is a 24-year-old who had just arrived in Athens from Belgium where he was working. According to information, the unfortunate young man was on the right side of the car and was thrown onto the sidewalk, hitting his head and dying instantly.

The video captures frame by frame the deadly path of the car which struck a parked vehicle driven by a 29-year-old. In the documentary video, the blue car’s trajectory can be seen in two phases. Initially it appears to be traveling at breakneck speed and veering off the road, while the sound of the impact is deafening.
Later in the video, four people can be seen unloading items from the trunk of a car parked on the side of the road. The 24-year-old was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where doctors confirmed his death, while two other people were injured from the violent collision.
