Albania’s Prime Minister, Edi Rama, made a statement that caused awkwardness among journalists regarding Albania’s integration into the European Union. Specifically, Edi Rama forewarned journalists by stating that “there are three things you cannot predict. Three.” He then declared: “God, sex and the EU.”
Rama: “International media should be more careful”
With these words, the Albanian Prime Minister wanted to comment on his country’s accession process and the future of Europe.
“There is no reason for concern, because there is no plan,” stated Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama when asked about the demonstrations against the plan to build a tourism complex by the Trump family on Albania’s southwestern coast, according to APE-MPE.
“There is no plan, there is no reason for concern as long as there is no plan,” assured Edi Rama, who is in Montenegro for the European summit for the Western Balkans, emphasizing that “the world’s best experts” have been “mobilized” and that it concerns “creating something unique.”
“There is no approved plan yet. First, we must have a plan, then see it, then discuss it, but we cannot discuss something that doesn’t exist,” said the Albanian Prime Minister, calling on “international media to be more careful.”
