Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan launched a harsh attack against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his message for the Festival of Sacrifice (Eid al-Adha), celebrated today, outside the Grand Camlica Mosque in Istanbul. Erdogan spoke extensively about Gaza and Palestine, calling for unity in the Muslim world and declaring that Netanyahu “will get the lesson he deserves.”
After participating in the Festival of Sacrifice prayer, the Turkish president addressed a message of unity to the faithful and wished health and harmony to the Muslim world.
Erdogan’s threats: “Netanyahu will get the lesson he deserves”
“May Allah grant us to reach many more festivals with health, prosperity and joy. May our unity and solidarity be eternal. This unity and solidarity will continue, God willing, until the Day of Judgment,” Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared.
In a particularly sharp tone, Erdogan personally attacked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Speaking to journalists outside the mosque, he stated: “What is happening in Palestine and Gaza constitutes for us in this festival a special stance and a special trial. I believe that this tyrant called Netanyahu will get the lesson he deserves from the Muslims of the world. We hope to see this reaction as soon as possible and to experience it all together. We expect 4 to 5 million Muslims to experience it personally. May God be our helper and supporter. May the Festival of Sacrifice become an occasion for the unity of the Islamic world.”
