The clash between Adonis Georgiadis and PASOK over the “Recycling Houses” affair continues to escalate, as the party’s Secretary for Institutions and Transparency, Konstantina Georgaki, hit back at the Health Minister’s claims about her role in issuing an advisory opinion on the project’s costs — only to receive a sharp response of his own from the minister.
Konstantina Georgaki’s post
Georgaki accused the Health Minister of misrepresenting — or simply not reading — the text of the advisory opinion, arguing that her signature “does not constitute an expert finding that everything was handled correctly in the Texan case, nor is it a court ruling, nor does it carry out a legality review of any public contract. Much less does it assign civil, criminal, or disciplinary liability to any individual.”
Adonis Georgiadis fires back
Georgiadis wasted no time responding to her comments, posting a pointed message declaring that PASOK had been caught “red-handed” — a direct reference to the Greek idiom meaning being caught in a compromising situation. He reshared Georgaki’s own text, leaving it, as he put it, “to the readers’ judgment” to draw their own conclusions.
