A delegation from SYRIZA-PS visited the fire-stricken areas of West Attica today to offer hands-on support to firefighters and volunteers battling the active fire fronts. The delegation delivered 1,500 bottles of water, along with essential supplies, to firefighting operation centers and staging areas where emergency forces are deployed across the affected regions.
The team visited Megara, Veniza, Zachouli, Louba, Nea Peramos, and the Firing Range at Kandili, with visits continuing to the remaining active fire fronts across West Attica. Brief informational meetings were also held with the heads of firefighting operations to receive a direct update on the progress of the battle against the flames and the needs currently faced by frontline forces.
The SYRIZA-PS delegation was composed of Political Secretariat member Markos Chatzisavvas, Central Committee member Christos Pantelios, and Athens A’ branch official Christos Provezis, supported by SYRIZA-PS members from the affected communities.
