The first Marc poll following the emergence of new political formations brings significant changes to the opposition landscape, as presented by “Proto Thema.” New Democracy maintains a stable lead over the competition, while the battle for subsequent positions intensifies with new players entering the political scene.

According to the published voting intention survey, the governing party captures 30.8% of voting preferences. The newly established ELAS party of Alexis Tsipras takes second place with 15.7%, creating a 15.1-point gap from New Democracy. The former prime minister’s party appears stable in second position, leaving the remaining competition behind. Maria Karystianou’s Hope for Democracy scores 10.9%, while PASOK follows with 10.3%. The narrow 0.6-point difference between these two parties creates intense interest regarding the capture of third place in citizen preferences.
