New details about the double homicide in Finikounda Messinia are coming to light. According to Live News, approximately one month ago, the 68-year-old victim had reported an attempted murder against him involving an air rifle. Specifically, the 68-year-old was approached by an unknown person wearing a full-face mask who struck him in the face with the barrel of the weapon, injuring him. The 68-year-old was hospitalized and a few days later reported the incident to authorities, but did not name any individual he suspected.
Finikounda: Businessman’s nephew witnessed the murder
According to the same sources, the businessman’s nephew was present at the campsite during the murder and stated that the shooter was young, possibly a minor, and made no particular effort to hide his features.
The victim’s nephew reported that the perpetrator subsequently fled on a motorcycle with a passenger, heading toward Koroni.
Authorities are examining security cameras in the area to identify any motorcycle movement in the region.
