Shocking footage has emerged from Siviri beach in Chalkidiki, where a firefighter collapsed while an evacuation operation was underway to remove residents and tourists from the area due to a raging wildfire.

The firefighter collapsed onto the sand, with a rescuer rushing to his side to administer first aid, according to SKAI. Meanwhile, the fire front is reportedly showing signs of improvement.
A total of 481 people were evacuated from Siviri beach using two Coast Guard vessels, two Fire Service boats, three fishing boats, private craft, and a high-speed ferry. Of those rescued, 285 were transported to Sani, while the remaining 196 boarded the Speedrunner Jet and are being transferred to the port of Thessaloniki. Three Coast Guard vessels, two Fire Service boats, and several private craft remain in the area.
