A gas cylinder explosion sparked a kitchen fire at a residence in the Eglykaда neighborhood of Patras, causing alarm in the local area. According to initial reports, the incident occurred at a home on Pelopos Street, near the intersection with Lochagou Menouno Street.

As reported by tempo24.news, a woman was cooking when she noticed a gas leak. Shortly afterward, a small explosion occurred, triggering a fire that quickly spread through the kitchen.
The woman managed to evacuate the home in time and is reported to be in good health, having escaped without any injuries. Fire department units responded immediately to the scene, with police forces also dispatched to assist with the operation.
