A 56-year-old man in Corfu who was accused of child pornography has taken his own life. Hours after giving his testimony, the man was found dead in the garden of his home. Specifically, he was discovered by a public service employee.
Corfu: Accused man found dead in child pornography case
The man had been released with restrictive conditions in connection with a child pornography case and appears to have taken his own life at his home in Kanalia, Corfu, early Tuesday afternoon (12/05).
A team from the Corfu Security Subdirectorate immediately rushed to the scene to examine the circumstances of the incident, and initial indications point to suicide. According to sources, it is estimated that he ended his life using a hunting weapon.
