A shocking case has come to light following an arrest carried out by Saronic Security. The case involves a 65-year-old man who had been convicted for the systematic rape of a young girl, the daughter of a friendly couple, whom he convinced to leave her at his house for babysitting while they were away for work.
Kalyvia: The arrest of the accused
The arrest took place on Tuesday, April 28, and the 65-year-old had a pending conviction from the Mixed Jury Court of Appeal dating back to 2022. The individual, who had been walking free for four years, systematically abused a girl from 2010 to 2016. The girl was only 7 years old in 2010. After a particularly painful process, she revealed her secret and procedures were initiated that led to his eventual conviction in 2022. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison, however until recently he remained free.
According to parapolitika.gr sources, he was taken to the prosecutor for sentence execution on Thursday 30/4, and from there an order was given for his imprisonment at Grevena prison to serve his sentence.
