Announced during an informational event in Hamburg on Monday, October 13, 2025, organized by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) Germany office in collaboration with SKY Express, the new direct flight connections between Greece and Germany from the airline company.
Specifically, the new autumn routes of SKY Express to and from Germany are:
- Athens-Berlin-Athens from October 16, 2025, 4 times per week,
- Athens-Hamburg-Athens from October 24, 2025, 3 times per week
- Thessaloniki-Düsseldorf-Thessaloniki, from November 5, 2025, 3 times per week.

The event took place on October 13, in the presence of officials from the General Consulate of Hamburg and representatives of the Greek community, at a renowned Greek restaurant in Hamburg so that our guests could enjoy the famous Greek gastronomy and hospitality. Invited guests were representatives of selected tour operators and media from the greater Hamburg state area, including the leading German tourism publication FVW.

The Head of GNTO Germany office, Nikoleta Lekanidi emphasized during her speech—in the presence of Deputy Head Ms. Chariklia Prokaki—the comparative advantages of our country, beyond the “sun and sea” duo. She referred to our country’s natural diversity, culture, gastronomy, renowned hospitality as well as the constantly improving connectivity with German airports.
Subsequently, SKY Express Key Accounts Project Manager, Alexandros Michalopoulos, presented the company’s new flight program and services.

The event was followed by a dinner featuring exquisite traditional Greek cuisine accompanied by Greek wines and spirits. During the event, individual discussions took place with the guests, aimed at further informing them about our country’s destinations and participation in familiarization trips.
