True to its philosophy of staying close to motorsport enthusiasts, Coral S.A. — Shell Licensee is making its presence felt at the Acropolis Rally, backing the crew of “Flandy” and Kostas Stefanis, who promise to deliver unforgettable thrills across the gravel stages of Central Greece and the Peloponnese.
The Acropolis Rally is the eighth round of the FIA World Rally Championship and stands as a landmark event — not only for Greece, but for the WRC as a whole.
“This is a uniquely proud moment for all of us, as the Acropolis Rally coincides with a century of Shell‘s presence in Greece,” said Kostas Karagiannis, Marketing Manager of Coral — Shell Licensee. “Another reason to be proud is the pairing of ‘Flandy’ and Kostas Stefanis themselves — each of whom has his own very special reason to hold this year’s rally close to his heart,” he added.
With this entry, “Flandy” — a promising representative of the next generation of rally drivers — makes his WRC debut. Alongside him in the co-driver’s seat is Kostas Stefanis, who is competing in his 31st Acropolis Rally and holds the record as the longest-active competitor in WRC history, spanning an extraordinary 51 years, 1 month, and one day since 1973. The duo will compete in a Ford Fiesta Rally3, with technical support provided by M-Sport Poland.
Coral S.A. — Shell Licensee, through its Shell V-Power fuels, provides the power and performance needed for “Flandy” and Kostas Stefanis to take on the demanding conditions of the Acropolis Rally with confidence.
