DF Inks is taking a significant step in digital transformation with the launch of its new corporate website, designed exclusively for the needs of the flexible packaging industry. DF Inks, the flexible packaging inks brand of the DRUCKFARBEN Group, announces the launch of its new website — a specialized digital platform offering Converters, Brand Owners, and industry professionals easier access to technical expertise, product information, and sustainability data, all through a modern user experience fully tailored to the needs of the industry.
New website: A digital hub for flexible packaging
Built around DF Inks’ product portfolio and technical capabilities, the website provides comprehensive information on solvent-based and water-based ink systems, PU Ultima™ technologies, UV Ultracure products, as well as primers, overprint varnishes, barrier coatings, and heat-seal lacquers. Visitors can also explore the broader Group ecosystem through links to KRAFT Paints and BIOCLIMA, all within an environment exclusively dedicated to packaging inks and coatings.
New website: Sustainability and regulatory readiness
As sustainability continues to reshape the industry, a dedicated section presents the Group’s approach to solutions that support recyclability, circular packaging design, and alignment with evolving European legislation — including the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
Technical knowledge at your fingertips
The new Troubleshooting Center offers practical guidance on common printing and converting challenges — from print defects, color consistency, and adhesion, to blocking, drying behavior, and process optimization — helping customers boost efficiency and reduce waste. In doing so, DF Inks reinforces its role as a long-term technical partner, going well beyond ink supply.
Ink Consumption Calculator
Among the platform’s most innovative features is the Ink Consumption Calculator, developed for Converters in Flexographic and Rotogravure printing. The tool calculates theoretical ink consumption based on key production parameters — transfer rate, Anilox or Gravure cylinder engraving, ink coverage, ink density, and ink-to-solvent ratio — offering a practical, data-driven approach that improves costing, inventory management, and overall operational efficiency.
“As the demands of flexible packaging continue to evolve, access to reliable information and technical support becomes increasingly important,” said Mr. G. Karavasilis, Managing Director of DRUCKFARBEN Group. “The new website was designed as a comprehensive knowledge resource, bringing together products, sustainability goals, and practical tools in a single, unified environment.”
