A shocking testimony has come to light regarding the tragedy of 3-year-old Andreas in Achaia. According to a local resident, the child’s uncle was riding an ATV with the little boy in front, which resulted in them falling from a wall.
The witness described in the “Revelations” show: “On that specific day before the accident, I saw the uncle and the little one taking a ride on the four-wheeler, what we call a ‘gourouna,’ with his uncle, and I know that’s where they fell. They fell from the wall with the ATV and that’s how the incident happened. He didn’t hit any corner or anywhere else.”
He continued: “They were riding around the village, there above the cemetery. The uncle had the child in front. They fell with the ATV from below. There’s no way he hit his head and then took the child in his arms and fell unconscious.”
The witness emphasized that many knew about the incident, but few spoke: “I believe many people know, but few will speak, and I made the first move.”
Achaia: What the 25-year-old uncle testified about the tragic accident with 3-year-old Andreas
In his testimony, the 25-year-old uncle claimed he picked up the child from the grandparents and was holding him during a walk to calm him down.
The 25-year-old said he was going to the edge of the road holding the child, who was under his supervision, resulting in both falling from a wall approximately two meters high. The child hit his head and the grandparents transported him to the Health Center, then to Karamandaneio Children’s Hospital in Patras, where unfortunately he lost his battle for life.
Despite doctors’ efforts, the child suffered cardiac arrest and died. The doctors received him in critical condition and immediately proceeded with intubation, performing CPR for 40 minutes.
The fatal head injuries occurred when the 25-year-old suggested to the child they go for a walk, and while going down a sloping road, he hit a balcony corner, became dizzy while standing on a wall two to three meters high and fell while holding the child, according to ERT, which visited the tragedy site. The same report mentions that the entire area is mourning, with the child’s parents learning they lost their little boy upon returning from agricultural work in the Agios Nikolaos Spata area.
