Kyriakos Mitsotakis watched with interest a poll asking people under 25 whether they knew about the tax relief measures included in the new tax bill for their age group. Most showed ignorance regarding the measures, even though, as the Prime Minister emphasized, they will benefit from them. Through TikTok, the social media platform that Kyriakos Mitsotakis has been using since 2022, he provided examples of the tax cuts. He said that young people with an annual income of €20,000 and a net salary of €980 will not be taxed. He also emphasized that there will be an increase of €91, resulting in an annual gain of €1,300.
He also commented that a freelancer under 25 with an annual income of €13,000 will not be taxed. The Prime Minister noted that “they will put €2,000 annually in their pocket.” Kyriakos Mitsotakis added that “we support young people with actions, not with words. Because we want you to be protagonists in a Greece that is changing.”
@kyriakosmitsotakis_ We support young people with actions, not with big words.
