With an official announcement, the Greek Tax Authority confirmed the payment of the third installment of the special consumption tax refund for agricultural fuel for 2025. In total, the Greek Tax Authority refunded the special tax to 82,624 farmers and the total amount reached €18.63 million. Specifically, the refund covers motor fuel purchases, those relating to fuel used in agriculture, as well as those that, in the form of sales invoices, have been issued and transmitted to the myData and eSend systems of the Greek Tax Authority.

The payment of the third installment of the Special Consumption Tax for agricultural fuel for 2025 was completed today.
The total refund amount, paid to 82,624 professional farmers, amounts to €18.63 million and covers:
• Motor fuel purchases,
• That were used exclusively in agriculture and
• For which sales invoices have been issued and transmitted to the myDATA and eSend systems of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue, from January 1 to September 30, 2025.
This amount represents the third of a total of five planned payments for the current year.
The new simplified payment procedure, both for this installment and for the following ones, is carried out automatically, without requiring any action from the eligible farmers.
