A fire, which appears to have been caused by mechanical failure, broke out on Tuesday morning in a trolley bus in central Athens. The incident occurred on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, at the intersection with Kerasountos Street, in the direction towards Kifisia, opposite Mavili Square and near the Athens Concert Hall. Traffic in the area has been significantly affected, with delays, as authorities are on site for firefighting and vehicle removal.
