A serious car accident occurred in the early hours of Monday in Rethymno. Specifically, according to flashnews.gr, a 30-year-old man lost control of his vehicle while driving, under circumstances that remain unknown at this time.
The vehicle veered off course and overturned, trapping him inside. A fire department team rushed to the scene with 2 vehicles and 4 firefighters, who used rescue equipment to successfully extricate the injured man and hand him over to the National Emergency Medical Service (EKAB).
The 30-year-old was transported to Rethymno Hospital following his rescue.
