The two 22-year-olds accused of the double murder at the camping site in Foinikounta in Messinia, arrived at the Kalamata courts just moments ago. Meanwhile, authorities continue their investigation to determine if there are more individuals involved in the cold-blooded murders of the 68-year-old camping site owner and the 60-year-old supervisor. In fact, a third person is being examined for potential involvement, as just minutes before the crime, he had phone contact with one of the two 22-year-olds and subsequently with a mobile phone that was inside the camping site. It should be noted that the unraveling of the mystery began on Tuesday morning (14/10) when the 22-year-old accomplice voluntarily appeared before authorities and confessed his involvement in the case.
Double murder in Foinikounta: The two 22-year-olds were under surveillance
It is noted that the two alleged perpetrators had already been identified since Sunday (12/10), however the investigation had not been completed and they were under surveillance, according to police sources speaking to protothema.gr. However, from the moment the photograph was published showing the two alleged perpetrators on the scooter, the accomplice decided to surrender. A few hours later, police proceeded to arrest the 22-year-old alleged as the physical perpetrator of the double murder as he was leaving his house in Kallithea.
