A 43-year-old man was sent to prison after attacking his pregnant partner with incredible brutality, stabbing her more than 100 times with a fork inside their home in Psychiko.

The perpetrator appeared on Monday morning before the 31st investigating judge, where he remained calm and indifferent during his testimony, before being taken to prison.
Horror in Psychiko: “I didn’t want any contact with him”
His ex-wife, who had also experienced his violent behavior herself, spoke exclusively to MEGA and Live News, revealing that she had warned the 39-year-old woman about what awaited her.
“I had warned her what she was getting into. When I learned they were in a relationship, I told her to think carefully. I spoke to her as woman to woman, but unfortunately she didn’t listen to me. I said everything I needed to say to her. I couldn’t do anything else. It was her decision and unfortunately this happened,” she stated characteristically.
She emphasized that she had been in the 39-year-old’s position and knew her ex-husband’s character well. From the first moment, she contacted her, offering her help.
“I know he will be tried today. I’m not getting involved. Only if this woman needs help will I go to court, otherwise no. I sent her a message to tell her I’m by her side for whatever she needs. When I saw the photograph I was shocked. I cried and felt very sorry as a woman.”
“He had beaten her badly – he had shaved her head with clippers”
The ex-wife revealed that their daughter, now 17 years old, had experienced her father’s violence firsthand.
“Her father had beaten her badly. He had shaved her head with electric clippers and she came to me. With her mother’s permission, she stayed with me. I took her home and he hit her very badly right in front of me,” a witness reports.
The woman who hosted the child at the time confirmed that the girl was beaten and terrorized.
“They came to my house together… ‘Please keep the child for a few days because he won’t let her go to school, he beat her very badly.’ It was obvious, the child had marks on her thighs, arms, face and her head was shaved,” she said.
“He was an alcoholic and violent”
“He drank a lot, he was an alcoholic. He was violent and aggressive with me too, but never so much that I ended up in the hospital. This person needs help, not prison. He needs a psychiatrist because he has a problem in his head,” the ex-wife added, emphasizing that she doesn’t want to upset their daughter.
She works hard, as she said, to support their daughter and continue their lives away from him.
The 39-year-old’s health condition
The 39-year-old pregnant woman is hospitalized at “Attikon” hospital and remains in critical condition. Doctors estimate that multiple surgeries will be needed, as she has lost vision in her right eye.
According to her friend, no one knew what she was living through at home, until the moment she called for help in the night.
“‘Help’ the girl was shouting, she called me and I went there and then called an ambulance because I saw she had blood. She had blood on her face and I got scared,” her friend described.

The perpetrator, with 12 previous arrests, was sent to prison after his testimony. His defense requested a psychiatric evaluation.
