Disney, however, decided to lift the suspension and so the famous host will return to the television stage on Tuesday, in a significant development. Indeed, the company emphasized that discussions were held with the presenter. The alleged reason for the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s show was the comments he made after the murder of Charlie Kirk.
“We reached new heights this weekend,” Jimmy Kimmel commented sarcastically, “with the MAGA gang desperately trying to present this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than their own and doing everything they can to secure political gain.” The presenter believed that the murderer of Kirk was a supporter of Donald Trump (Make America Great Again).
Jimmy Kimmel: The reasons for his return
There is suspicion that Jimmy Kimmel’s hasty return was due to the financial damage ABC suffered after his dismissal. The 57-year-old presenter had said that the American Right tried to extract the maximum possible benefit from Kirk’s murder.
Kimmel is an award winner and has hosted the Oscars four times. He has been presenting “Jimmy Kimmel Live” since 2003.
