A fatal traffic accident occurred on Sunday evening (21/9) in Piraeus, resulting in the death of a 40-year-old man and serious injuries to a 33-year-old woman, who is hospitalized on a ventilator and fighting for her life. According to initial reports, the vehicle carrying the two occupants veered off course and crashed into a pole at the intersection of Tzavella and Skylitsi streets.
The Fire Department was immediately called to the scene and extracted the two victims, who were unconscious. Meanwhile, an ambulance transported them to the hospital, where the death of the 40-year-old driver was confirmed shortly after midnight.
