Security officers from the Nea Smyrni Crime Investigation Unit tracked him down after an investigation, identified him, and proceeded with his arrest. The suspect reportedly confessed to his involvement. parapolitika.gr obtained exclusive video footage showing the violent actions of the 24-year-old, who didn’t hesitate to ransack shops belonging to ordinary business owners, threaten them with a knife, and even jump over counters to reach cash registers and grab his loot.

Through methodical investigations, they traced him just one day later. On August 19, the man was located on Kolokotronis Street and arrested by police.
