The data for the 1st half of 2025 show an impressive increase in recorded overtime in sectors that were mandatorily integrated into the Digital Work Card:
- +81% compared to the corresponding half of 2024
- +110% compared to June 2024
- The largest increase is recorded in tourism:
- +855% in the half-year
- +800% in June alone
Significant increases in other key sectors:
- Retail: +111% (half-year), +146% (June)
- Manufacturing: +77% (half-year), +68% (June)
- Food service: +115% (half-year), +226% (June)
The Digital Card is not just a technological tool, it is a shield for the worker and a lever of transparency in the labor market”.
