Serious concern is spreading in recent hours regarding the health of Chinese President Xi Jinping, as rumors of a stroke emerged following his recent appearance in India during the BRICS Summit. The unverified reports, which have been circulating widely online following a post by CDP Chairman Wanjun Xie on X, claim that the Chinese leader lost consciousness during the Summit.
Xi Jinping health fears: Reports of a serious ischemic stroke
The rumors intensified further after no official welcoming ceremony took place at Beijing’s airport upon his return — a protocol that is customary for a head of state. According to the same reports, a military helicopter was used to transport him directly to a hospital in Beijing.
The claims allege that Xi Jinping suffered a serious ischemic stroke. It is further suggested that, fearing India might obtain information about his medical condition, he refused treatment on Indian soil and reportedly returned to Beijing immediately. Chinese authorities have not confirmed any of these scenarios. Notably, Xi Jinping is scheduled to visit the United States later this month.
… pic.twitter.com/3bfnNfoZ05
