Prince Harry reportedly offered to share his official schedule with the royal family just days ago, in what is being interpreted as his latest attempt to restore relations with his father, King Charles. According to PEOPLE sources, Prince Harry’s representatives recently met with King Charles’s communications secretary. Initially, this meeting could be interpreted as an attempt to avoid potential “clashes” between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s scheduled public appearances and the official activities of the British royal family.

However, the exchange of schedules could also indicate an attempt at coordination, aimed at finding time for a personal meeting between Prince Harry and King Charles.
Their last meeting was in February 2024, when Prince Harry traveled to Britain to see his father immediately after the announcement of his cancer diagnosis. After a brief meeting, he left the country the very next day and returned to California, where he permanently resides with his family.
According to the latest information, this private meeting took place on July 9 in London between two of Prince Harry’s associates and King Charles’s communications secretary.
“It was a good first step. It’s always better to have dialogue. It’s a positive step, there’s optimism that there could be continuity,” a source told PEOPLE.
However, it’s worth noting that people close to the royal family downplayed the meeting, presenting it as a professional contact between communications officials. Nevertheless, according to others, this meeting may signal a tentative reconnection between father and son, after years of almost complete silence.
