Police arrested a minor in Volos after he was caught riding a motorcycle without a helmet or license plates while performing dangerous maneuvers.
Volos: Minor driver breaks traffic laws and injures police officer
The arrest took place on Friday evening (14/08) by officers from the Volos Traffic Police Department. The minor now faces charges of dangerous driving, multiple violations of the Highway Traffic Code, and assault against public officials and judicial persons.
Notably, when officers signaled the minor to stop for an inspection, he refused to comply and sped away, successfully evading them. After an extensive search, officers located him shortly afterward at another location in the city. At that point, according to police, he launched an unprovoked physical attack on an officer, causing minor injuries, while also damaging a police patrol vehicle.
He tried to flee again
According to information from gegonotanews.gr, the minor then managed to escape once more, but was subsequently located at yet another point in Volos and was arrested again by police officers.
