Kostas Passaris will remain behind bars at Craiova Prison after his latest parole request was rejected, according to Romanian media reports. Specifically, the request filed by the convicted murderer — who has now spent 24 years in prison — was dismissed on Thursday (13/08) by the Dolj County Court. It is worth noting that Passaris has already served the minimum 20-year sentence required under Romanian law; however, the judges ruled that he does not meet all the necessary conditions to be released.
