The cause of death of the woman found dead inside a suitcase in Kypseli remains undetermined, as advanced decomposition prevented forensic examiners from drawing safe conclusions from the autopsy. Forensic pathologist Mr. Ntilernia completed the examination, with the report indicating that the cause of death remains unestablished. According to sources, no visible injuries were detected, while the possibility of strangulation has been ruled out. However, it was not possible to clarify whether death resulted from asphyxiation.
Kypseli suitcase case: What the autopsy revealed about the victim
The autopsy revealed that the victim is a woman standing 1.61 meters tall with a foot length of 22 centimeters. Her hair is dark brown, and based on her teeth, cartilage, and ribs, she appears to be young, around 30 years of age.
Authorities are now awaiting results from toxicology tests, while a DNA sample has also been taken from the woman’s fingernails to determine whether she fought back in an attempt to save her own life.
