The PPC Group has secured an impressive series of distinctions in the prestigious annual “Emerging EMEA Executive Team” survey conducted by the international organization Extel. This year’s evaluation recognized PPC as one of the top companies in its sector, awarding it the coveted title of “Most Honored Company.”

The Greek energy giant claimed the top spot in the Large-Cap EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) category for the Utilities sector. At the same time, in the same category, the Group climbed to second place in the Overall rankings, officially cementing its strong growth trajectory and leadership presence across the broader region.

More specifically, the Chairman and CEO of the PPC Group, Georgios Stassis, ranked first in the Best CEO category across all sub-categories (Combined & Sell-Side/Overall & Large-Cap). The Group’s Chief Financial Officer, Konstantinos Alexandridis, claimed first place in the Combined/Large-Cap and Sell-Side/Large-Cap categories, as well as second place in the overall Combined/Overall ranking. Meanwhile, the Head of Investor Relations, Ioannis Stefos, secured second place in three categories (Combined/Large-Cap, Sell-Side/Overall, and Sell-Side/Large-Cap), while the Group’s Investor Relations team took second place in the Combined/Large-Cap, Sell-Side/Overall and Sell-Side/Large-Cap categories, and third place in the Combined/Overall category.
This year’s “Emerging EMEA Executive Team” survey by Extel attracted participation from over 450 investment industry professionals representing 247 international financial services firms. More than 600 executives and 400 companies were nominated for recognition, based on criteria including credibility, communication, financial management, capital allocation, and the quality of their investor relations.
