Following the completion of CrediaBank’s Private Placement of shares, the free float factor of the company’s shares across all indices will increase from 30% to 47%, as announced by Euronext Athens.
More specifically, the change will affect the composition of the following indices:
- Athens Stock Exchange General Price Index
- Athens Stock Exchange General Index Total Return
- FTSE/Athens Stock Exchange Large Cap
- FTSE/Athens Stock Exchange Market Index
- FTSE/Athens Stock Exchange Banks
- FTSE/Athens Stock Exchange Financial Services
In addition, a change in the weight factor of the company’s shares in the ATHEX ESG Index has been announced, rising from 25.10% to 39.33%. All of the above changes will take effect from the trading session of Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
FTSE Russell also issued a statement confirming that the increase in the share’s free float following the placement will lead to a significant boost in its weighting across the indices in which it participates, effective from Monday’s trading session. The weighting in the FTSE All-World index rises from 29.9138% to 46.63389%, with the same level to be reflected across the FTSE MPF All-World, FTSE Global Large Cap, and FTSE Emerging indices.
